Description
Weight training and athletic activities cause your body to produce lactic acid. This causes muscle pH to drop and become more acidic due to the large amount of hydrogen ions produced, decreasing your muscle's ability to perform at its peak level.
Beta Alanine works by increasing muscle carnosine levels, which in turn works as a muscle buffer by soaking up these extra hydrogen ions (delaying the onset of fatigue).
In basic terms, that means that increasing carnosine levels allows one to train harder and longer for improved performance and results.
Another important benefit of increased carnosine levels is that carnosine is a powerful precursor in potentiating Nitric Oxide (N.O.). This is because carnosine is the substrate for NOS (Nitric Oxide Synthase) activity, which is the enzyme responsible for generating Nitric Oxide. In layman’s terms, this leads to more dramatic vasodilation and ‘pumps’.

How To Use
As a dietary supplement, take 1-2 servings mixed with 200ml-400ml of your favourite beverage as indicated below:
- On training days take 20-30 minutes pre-workout and immediately post-workout
- On non-training days take twice between meals
- In total 2-4 servings split in 2 drinks should be taken per day
Assess Your Tolerance
Beta-Alanine may cause a tingling or sensory sensation on your skin which varies in intensity depending on the user. With continued use, the intensity of the sensation will decrease or disappear.
Begin taking 1 serving (2g) twice daily to assess your tolerance. As you become accustomed to the feeling, increase your dosage to 2 servings (4g).
Important: do not add to products already containing Beta-Alanine.
